The FAVO Filmproduktion was founded in 2010 by producer, writer and director Marcus Richardt after completing his studies at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg
The spectrum of formats developed by FAVO FILM ranges from documentary and feature films, multi-camera recordings, concerts, operas and ballet to documercials and music video clips. We produce for cinema as well as tv and web. Passionate in the fields of music, art and culture.
FAVO (Italian: honeycomb) – the name stands for our philosophy: a permanent team and a wide network of professional filmmakers and creative partners work together on the individual implementation of cinematic formats.
The productions of FAVO FILM ran at national and international festivals, received enthusiastic reviews and won prizes such as the ECHO Klassik and the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.
